Dying Light 2 Stay Human’s Next Patch Will Add New Game Plus, Coming Later This Month

Techland says the upcoming update is going to be "one of the biggest" it has released so far, and will also bring various other fixes.

Techland has been putting out updates for Dying Light 2 Stay Human pretty consistently since the game’s launch, and has also been working on new features for it for a while, with New Game Plus being one of them. Now, we have a clearer idea of when to expect that in particular.

Taking to Twitter, Techland recently confirmed that it’s working on the next patch for Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Due out for all platforms by the end of this month, the developer says the update is “one of the biggest” it’s released so far. In addition to several fixes for both single player and co-op, the patch will also add a New Game Plus option.

Recently, Techland also confirmed that it was working on additional new features for Dying Light 2, including Photo Mode and more difficulty options, though it remains to be seen when those will launch. Meanwhile, the game’s first expansion – which won’t be set after the conclusion of the base game – is also currently in development.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will launch for the Nintendo Switch as a cloud-exclusive release sometime later this year.
