Dying Light 2 Stay Human’s troubled development and rocky production issues have been troubling those who’re looking forward to the action RPG for quite some time now, but lately, it’s finally started looking like the game might be coming together in time for its launch at long last. When it does, thankfully, you won’t require a lot of free space in your console’s storage.
As confirmed by @PlaystationSize on Twitter, the PS5 version of Dying Light 2 Stay Human has a download size of a little over 21 GB- 21.099 GB, to be precise, and that’s without a day one patch, which is almost guaranteed to happen (as it is with any other game these days). Meanwhile, the game’s pre-loading will become available a couple of days before launch, on February 2.
File sizes and pre-loading times for the game are yet to be revealed for other platforms. The PS5 has generally seen quite a few games having smaller sizes than their PS4 versions, thanks to the new console’s impressive compression tech, so it should be interesting to see whether the same is the case here.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human will launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 4. Though the game’s been delayed multiple times in the past, Techland has confidently said there’s zero chance of that happening again.
