Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is Coming to Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo Switch version will be releasing in 2023 alongside the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC versions.

Rabbit and Bear Studios has announced that Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, its successor to the Suikoden series, will be coming to Nintendo Switch. It launches in 2023 along with the Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and PC versions. This is after the developer recently said it was looking into a potential Switch version.

In a new Kickstarter update, it said, “That’s right! Given recent speculation over the Nintendo Switch and potential next generation Nintendo iterations, we wanted to play it safe and investigate what options we had before fully committing to a Nintendo Switch version. But now the wait is over and we’re delighted to confirm that Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will also be landing on Nintendo Switch!”

Some other new details include the reveal of Yaelu, who is from a small settlement in the League of Nations. This settlement uses Rune-Lens to camouflage itself but Yaelu is very inquisitive by nature (despite being very shy). Interestingly, she hides her eyes, which is a custom in the settlement and thus never reveals them. Her motive for joining the player’s party is to see the world.

Stay tuned for more details on Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes in the coming months. In the meantime, its companion prequel Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is out now for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S. Developed by Natsume Atari, it’s a 2.5D side-scrolling action RPG with town-building and Metroidvania elements. Check out our review here for more details.
