Eiyuden Chronicle - Hundred Heroes

Konami doesn’t look like it’s going to bring back beloved RPG series Suikoden any time soon, but it looks like we’ve got the next best thing to fill the void. The developers of Suikoden announced the series’ spiritual successor Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes not that long ago, and given how incredible it looked, it wasn’t surprising that it saw a massively successful crowdfunding campaign.

At the recent Xbox and Bethesda E3 2021 Showcase, the game took the stage and announced itself to the world in a more mainstream capacity. Showing off its characters, its world, its combat, and more, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is looking exactly like the sort of game that Suikoden fans have been craving for so long.

But that’s not all. Developer Rabbit and Bear has also announced Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, which will launch before Hundred Heroes. It will serve as an introduction to the world and series and provide backstory for its successor, and feature action-RPG combat along with town-building mechanics. Check out both games in action below.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will launch in 2022, and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will launch in 2023. Both games will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
