Exoprimal Features 10 Player Co-op Missions, Exosuit Variants Coming Post-Launch

Other post-launch updates for the co-op shooter include collaborations with other Capcom titles and new "game content" each season.

Capcom has revealed new details on what to expect from Exoprimal, its surprisingly fun co-op third-person shooter, at launch. Didn’t like fighting other players? Some missions won’t have direct PvP and are decided by clearing PvE objectives faster than the other team.

There are 10-player co-op missions with more objective variety and challenging foes and weekly rotating five-player missions with global leaderboards. In addition to maps like Dam and Volcanic Base, adding further variety, Dino Survival will have story-related missions. Players can also expect cutscenes and an Analysis Map to delve deeper into the backstory.

Unavailable during the beta, Modules allow for more customization, and you can equip different Exosuit and weapons skins, decals, emotes and more. Though a post-launch roadmap is yet to be outlined, subsequent title updates will offer Exosuit variants, like a Deadeye that uses a burst-fire rifle instead of a sniper, which doubles up as a shotgun.

Seasonal updates will add more “game content,” probably referring to new maps and modes. But most exciting are the collaborations with other Capcom games. A Muramasa skin that resembles Vergil from Devil May Cry? Yes, please.

Exoprimal launches on July 14th for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It’s also available on day one for Game Pass. Check out our impressions from the beta here.
