Exoprimal Guide – How to Level up Your Exosuits Quickly

Along with XP for your Player Level and Battle Pass, each Exosuit also earn XP and unlocks different rewards. Here's how to level them quickly.

There are many parts to Exoprimal, Capcom’s new co-op PvEvP shooter. Some click together quite well, and others don’t, but everyone can agree that the Exosuits are cool. Each has unique designs and personalities, providing unique play styles within their roles that feel fun. Except for probably Zephyr, but that’s neither here nor there.

Regardless of which Exosuit is your favorite, you’ll want to level each one up. They all have individual levels, and increasing them gives you Modules to improve their overall kit and BikCoins, which can unlock and upgrade Modules and purchase cosmetics. How do you level up Exosuits quickly, though?

There’s no quick farming method, but you can expedite the process in many ways. Here are a couple of methods for quick leveling.

How to Quickly Level up Exosuits

Never Switch

It may sound incredibly toxic – and it can be, especially if your team isn’t going to play tanks or supports – but you should stay on an Exosuit if you want to level it up quickly. This is because the more you play an Exosuit, the most XP it gains. Change Exosuits in the middle of a match, and the XP gets divided.

While it may seem like a good idea to switch to all of them and let them all gain XP, it’s not. Stick to one, win or lose, and hopefully, your team will understand. Don’t leave the match, though – you’ll only get XP for sticking through to the end.

Win Matches

If you’re the type of switches between Exosuits based on the situation, then you’ll be leveling them all up pretty evenly. Winning is attractive since you get a 1.3x multiplier to the rewards, and it seems to include Exosuit XP.

To maximize your chances of winning, go with a role your team currently lacks. If you feel enemies aren’t dying fast enough, don’t be afraid to go from support to assault to speed things up. Two tanks or two supports sounds nice, but it’s not strictly necessary, especially in PvE. Of course, even if you don’t win, there is another method to gain XP quickly.

Random Matchmaking

And that’s to select Random when matchmaking for Dino Survival. It becomes available after the first hour of playing and lets you choose the Final Mission for a match. PvE will see you competing to complete objectives faster than the opposing team but still has PvP elements, with the ability to commandeer a Dominator and invade the enemy team’s instance.

PvP sees you going up against the enemy team more directly, while Random randomly assigns a PvP or PvE Final Mission. The benefit of Random is that you get a 1.2x multiplier to XP earned. Once again, this seems to apply to Exosuit XP as well. If you want to level up an Exosuit quickly and don’t mind rolling the dice, go Random. The best part is that you still benefit from the 1.2x multiplier even after losing. So don’t be afraid to not switch off your role in any shape or form.

Exoprimal is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. It’s also available on Game Pass.
