A new Capcom Spotlight is taking place today at 2 PM PT, and Exoprimal is one of the five games featured. We’ve seen the various Exosuits, and an open beta is rumored to happen soon. However, the upcoming showcase could also include a release date for the co-op shooter.
Sources speaking to Insider Gaming have revealed that Exoprimal will release on July 14th. Nothing was said about an open beta, but given the proximity to the Capcom Spotlight, it’s safe to conclude that we’ll learn more during the event.
Produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi of Dino Crisis fame, Exoprimal takes place in 2040, with dinosaurs flooding the world. To contain the crisis, Exofighters have come into being, piloting Exosuits to battle back against the hordes. Though a co-op shooter on the surface, Exoprimal sees two teams of five players competing in PvEvP matches.
In addition to completing objectives and fighting off bosses, players can invade the other team and cause havoc. Exoprimal is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details when the Capcom Spotlight airs today.
