Fallout 4 Unused Assets Found, May Point To Potential DLC Usage

Kotaku digs up new information about cut content in Fallout 4.

There is very little doubt that Fallout 4 is a massive game. The game is so massive as a matter of fact that it had actually has a ton of content that hasn’t even been used. Some of this content was left on the proverbial side of the road because Bethesda has no interest in using it. Other pieces of content have been found that might hint at what we can expect to find in future content when the company eventually releases its DLC.

Kotaku has managed to find out these little clues by finding the audio files that were in the game but not actually used. Apparently the audio files center around one part in the game where you’re supposed to be a fighter who earns caps for taking people down. The harder you fight, the bigger the payout and the position of the player’s ranking. These lost audio clips might just be something that Bethesda decided to go away from. It’s also possible this is something that might be coming in the near future.

We’ll just have to wait and see, since Bethesda obviously isn’t volunteering confirmation about what those audio clips mean in the long run. If nothing else, these clips mean that those modders, who are hard at work adding all kinds of content can find something to do with them. You can hear the audio here to or check our very own video about Fallout 4 DLC then start speculating what they could mean for the world of Fallout 4 in the comments below.
