While Fallout 4‘s DLC, Far Harbor has been getting all the attention, those who have loved playing with and building mods for the PC version of the game are about to get really, really happy. Bethesda announced, via its Twitter account that a new update for the Xbox One was going live. This update would prepare the console for the ability to add mods to that version of the game.
At the same time, the company announced it was about to announce the dates for the beta that will be using the mods. Earlier in May, Bethesda had said the beta and the update to allow mods would indeed be coming this month.
Bethesda said it was going to focus on the launch of Far Harbor first and would then turn its attention to the mods. While the company kept its word, there isn’t a great deal of info to be had as to how the company is going to roll out the beta or the mods for Fallout 4.
