Fallout 76: Bethesda Might Select Users For Pre-Beta Testing

The real question is, when will that be?

Fallout 76’s beta is a big, fat question mark. Not because we don’t know what it’ll be (we know exactly what it will be), or when it will launch (we have rough estimate), but because we just don’t know what the player selection is going to be like, thanks to contradictory and confusing statements by Bethesda.

Before we get to the beta, though, it seems like there will be a pre-beta for the game as well, as Bethesda had stated earlier might happen. Pete Hines, VP of marketing and PR at Bethesda, recently took to Twitter to confirm that there might be selection for a few players to take part in a pre-beta test of the game. A beta for a beta, essentially.

So yeah, be on the lookout for any emails, in case you’re interested. Note that there’s every chance we may not hear much about this, because most likely, anybody who’s selected for this pre-beta test by Bethesda will likely have to sign an NDA.

Fallout 76 launches on November 14 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
