Far Cry 4 Patch 1.6 Arrives, Fixes UI, Graphics And Memory Issues

Introduces a few fixes.

Far Cry 4 is one of the more stable games amongst Ubisoft’s latest slew of glitch-fests, though with that being said, the game is still somewhat bad for some players whereas it’s better for the less picky of gamers. The latest patch is, as you expect from Ubisoft, annoying vague in regards to specific updates, but its serviceable.

This is something Ubisoft should address as it’s proving to irritate players with its intentional vagueness. Though the vagueness helps protect against backlash. The patch adds the option to toggle the HUD on and off with the F11 key, the patch also sees to “various Graphic issues” and “various Control issues”.

Also fixed are issues with incorrect saves being used from Uplay and multi GPU performance drops. The UI issues have been addressed, though we don’t know which, memory usage has been reduced and vague Uplay and Steam issues have been apparently resolved. Good job Ubisoft, nice documentation.

The entire log is below:

-Added hotkey for toggling the HUD on/off (F11)
-Fixed an issue when the game loaded incorrect save from Uplay Cloud
-Fixed an issue with performance drop for Crossfire Multi-GPU
-Fixed an issue with broken shadows in the northern region
-Fixed various Controls issues
-Fixed various Graphic issues
-Fixed various IGE issues
-Fixed various UI issues
-Fixed various Uplay/Steam issues
-Memory usage reduced
