The charts for retail sales of video games in the UK for the week of Christmas are in (via GamesIndustry), and FIFA 21 has reclaimed the top spot in the top 10, having risen 8% over last week’s sales. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which topped the charts last week, falls down to second place.
The rest of the top 5 is occupied by a lot of very familiar names in these charts, with Animal Crossing: New Horizons at No. 3, the evergreen Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at No. 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War dropping down from last week’s second spot to No. 5 this week.
Cyberpunk 2077 suffers another drop in sales, going from No. 3 last week to No. 8 this week. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is in at No. 6, while Just Dance 2021 unsurprisingly continues to perform well enough to land in the top 10, nabbing the No. 6 spot. Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Minecraft’s Switch version round out the top 10.
