At a PAX East 2024 Panel, Final Fantasy 14 producer Naoki Yoshida confirmed that the MMO’s next expansion, Dawntrail, would launch on July 2nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Those who pre-order get early access and can start playing on June 28th at 2 AM PT.
Pre-orders begin on March 26th, with other bonuses like a Wind-Up Zidane Minion accompanying you while traveling. You also get Azeyma’s Earrings, which provide a 30 percent EXP gain on defeating enemies. The effect applies at levels 1 to 90 and can only be equipped by Disciples of War or Magic.
It’s also worth noting that to take advantage of early access, players must complete certain quests in Endwalker, the last major expansion. Stay tuned for more details on the exact quests in the coming months.
