As one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2020 (and perhaps the entire generation), it’s not surprising that people are itching to get their hands on Final Fantasy 7 Remake. And if a recent leak is to be believed, we might be able to do just that sooner than expected.
Gamstat, which tracks the PlayStation Network API and whenever anything is added to it, is showing listing for a demo of Final Fantasy 7 Remake on the PlayStation Store. Though no such listing can be found on the store itself, there’s a chance that relevant files have been added to PSN in preparation of a demo’s imminent launch. Of course, this isn’t the first time there have been reports of a demo for the game, so take this with a grain of salt for now. That said, Gamstat also leaked Resident Evil 3 before its reveal earlier this month, so perhaps there’s something here after all.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake is due out for the PS4 on March 3, 2020, and will remain exclusive to the platform for a year, until March 3, 2021. Meanwhile, the second part of the remake is already in development as well.
