After more than three years of radio silence, Square Enix finally gave us another glimpse at the long-awaited Final Fantasy 7 Remake, promising more information in June. Recent rumours have suggested that at E3, they’ll be showing a gameplay demo of the remake, but if another new leak is anything to go by, we might be in for a great deal more.
The leak in question supposedly comes straight from Square Enix’s own El Segundo branch (via Reddit), and among all the information it leaks, another tidbit that is included has to do with a demo. The leak states that right after Square Enix has shown off gameplay for the game at E3 (or the week afterward), they will release a demo for Final Fantasy 7 Remake for the PS4- the only caveat is that it will be available to you only if you have a PlayStation Plus subscription.
Given just how many rumblings there have been about a demo in particular, this feels a little more believable than it ordinarily would- but then again, given it’s nature, there’s every chance that this turns out to be false. For now, it’s best to take this with a large grain of salt.
We’ll know for sure either way very soon from now, so stay tune to GamingBolt for more updates.
