For Honor: Marching Fire Open Test Announced for September

PC players can get their hands on the new enemy faction and Breach mode early.

Ubisoft’s For Honor is receiving quite a bit of new content with the Marching Fire update, which is out in October. However, if you want to get in on the action early, the development team has announced an open test for the update next week. It takes place on September 6th for PC users and will last until September 10th.

Along with the new Wu Lin faction containing four new heroes, Marching Fire also introduces graphical improvements, Victory screens, UI enhancements, and a new PvP mode called Breach. Breach mode is essentially a fort siege mode of sorts – one team attacks a castle, using a battering ram to break in, while the other team must defend it and their lord. Three new maps will be available along with Breach.

If that weren’t enough, a new Arcade Mode consisting of randomly generated battles of varying difficulties (which players can choose beforehand) will also be available. These can be tackled solo or in co-op and allow players to level up gear score and Reputation, which carries over into multiplayer.

For Honor: Marching Fire releases on October 16th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
