For Honor’s Marching Fire Expansion and Update Now Live

Four new heroes, Breach, Arcade mode, and much more arrive in Ubisoft's fighter.

Man the siege engines – For Honor’s latest expansion Marching Fire is now live, along with a free update. It adds the Wu Lin faction, bringing four new heroes to the game along with graphical improvements and the new Breach mode. Check out the trailer below to see how the new heroes look and play.

The Wu Lin faction consists of Tiandi, a Dao blade wielder; the Shaolin, who relies on bare fists and a staff; Jiang Jun, wielding a guandao; and Nuxia, a hook sword user. Each has their own style and abilities that drastically alter the flow of battle. As for Breach mode, it sees two teams taking turns defending and assaulting a castle. The goal? To protect/kill the “king”, who sits in the courtyard.

The Marching Fire expansion allows for unlocking the new heroes immediately, though the Wu Lin characters will be available two weeks later for purchase at 15,000 Steel each in-game. Arguably the biggest highlight of the paid expansion is Arcade Mode. This is a PvE-focused mode where solo and co-op players can battle against AI foes with different modifiers and difficulties, promising “endless replayability”.
