Forza Horizon 3 On Xbox One X To Get HDR Fix Soon

The only question is when this fix will be released.

Playground Game’s Forza Horizon 3 was recently given the Xbox One X update patch to enable the ultimate cosmic power of the system to work it’s 4K HDR magic, but some unforeseen problems crept in with HDR making the picture too dark.

The HDR fix has been confirmed now as forthcoming on the Forza series forums, but doesn’t say much more than that. They admit that there’s a problem, they explain that the issue is some “improper exposure calculation in certain situations,” and that players should stay tuned for more information. No release date given on when the patch will come.

The update, which first launched for the Xbox One X on January 15th, bumps the game to a native 4K resolution, enhances effects like shadow detail, draw distances and other effects, as well as bumping up level of detail settings in general. While you wait for Forza Horizon 3 to be fixed, drool over how it seems developers Playground Games might be reviving Fable.
