Forza Horizon 4 Had 2 Million Players in its First Week

A fantastic game that is getting the success it deserves.

Microsoft and Playground Games’ fantastic Forza Horizon 4, the newest entry in their arcade and sim racing fusion franchise, has apparently been a runaway success. Microsoft announced today that the game saw 2 million players in its first week. While player numbers are never directly corresponding to sales numbers, that’s really impressive performance no matter how you slice it.

Microsoft also pointed out that Forza continues to be the bestselling racing game franchise of the generation (though this includes the Motorsport and Horizon games combined, I assume, given that they didn’t specify Forza Horizon). They also reiterated that Forza Horizon 4 will be getting a route creator on October 25. Given that this is the most requested feature by fans, that should come off as good news to everyone.

If you haven’t played Forza Horizon 4 already, you should really look into changing that. We think it’s one of the best racing games of all time. It’s available now on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
