Forza Street Might Be Coming to the Switch, As Per Game’s Source Code

Cuphead is probably not the last Microsoft game we'll be seeing on Nintendo's platform.

Microsoft and Nintendo recently formalized their ever-growing friendship when the excellent sidescrolling shoot em up Cuphead was released for the Switch. But of course, if rumours over the past couple of months are anything to go by, this is far from the only Microsoft title we’ll be seeing on Nintendo’s platform. From the likes of Ori and the Blind Forest to other major titles like Halo and Forza, all have been rumoured to be coming out on the Switch eventually in some form or another.

Now it seems like that rumoured Forza release for the Switch might be closer- though it’s not any of the mainline Motorsport or Horizon titles. Instead, the rumour pegs the recently released free-to-play title Forza Street for Switch launch. As AR12 Gaming have discovered, the source code of the racer make several mentions of a Nintendo Switch version of the game- you can take a look at the image below.

Given recent trends and the strengthening relationship between Microsoft and Nintendo, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to assume that a free-to-play spinoff of the Forza franchise might just end up coming to the Switch- and the proof below definitely seems solid enough. Till such time we receive a confirmation from any of the parties involved though, it’s best to take all this with a grain of salt.

For now, Forza Street is available on PC, while iOS and Android releases are also in the pipeline.
