Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 Will be 2 Hours Long

This year's showcase is meant to focus more on updates for previously-announced upcoming titles than brand-new reveals.

Gamescom week is on the horizon, and will be kicking off tomorrow with Gamescom Opening Night Live. Earlier this month, ONL producer and host Geoff Keighley set expectations for this year’s showcase, saying that it would be more focused on updates for upcoming titles than brand-new reveals. Now, he’s also confirmed what its runtime will be.

Taking to Twitter, Keighley recently confirmed that Gamescom Opening Night Live – which will kick off at 11 AM PT tomorrow – will run for about two hours. Presumably, this only accounts for the main show, prior to which a 30-minute long pre-show will also be streamed, as previously confirmed by Keighley.

A number of games have been confirmed for the Gamescom ONL lineup so far, including Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Alan Wake 2, Black Myth: Wukong, Crimson Desert, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Mortal Kombat 1, Lords of the Fallen, Sonic Superstarsand Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Stay tuned for all the updates tomorrow.
