Ghost of Tsushima Could Launch In First Half of 2020 – Rumour

PS4 owners might be in for an incredible few months very soon.

After what seemed like a long period of uncertainly over when Sony’s next big first party releases might be dropping, there’s been a barrage of new information of late. After Sony confirmed that Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us Part 2 would all definitely be released for the PS4 and would not get pushed back for PS5 releases, information has emerged for all of them through various channels.

Death Stranding recently got confirmed for a release as early as November 8 of this year, which was followed promptly by reports that The Last of Us Part 2 might be releasing in February 2020– now, we’re hearing that Ghost of Tsushima might also be out in early 2020 (or early-ish, at any rate).

Speaking on Twitter, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier said that Ghost of Tsushima, based on what he’s heard, will be releasing in the first half of 2020. Meanwhile, the game’s Amazon UK page also shows that it’s received an age rating from PEGI, the European ratings board (as spotted over on Reddit), for ages 16 and up (which would be a T rating in ESRB terms). That, of course, is significant because games usually get rated by boards when they’re months away from launch.

It should be interesting to see whether this ends up happening. If The Last of Us Part 2 does indeed launch early on in February, Sony might end up holding back Ghost of Tsushima for later on in the year- though that might coincide with the PS5’s launch, so you never know. Either way, stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we’ll keep you updated.
