the last of us part 2

Well, that The Last of Us Part 2 State of Play stream didn’t happen, which means we don’t have a new trailer or a release date announcement for the game yet. But if newly emerging information is anything to go by, we might have a somewhat more precise release window for the game- and it’s not this year.

Jason Schreier of Kotaku recently took to Twitter, and said that Naughty Dog’s hotly anticipated action adventure sequel will be out in early 2020- possibly February. Schreier noted that the game was originally planned for a Fall 2019 release, but was recently bumped back to early 2020. Perhaps to give Naughty Dog more time to polish up the game? We certainly hope so.

If you were hoping for a major PS4 exclusive to come out this year, though, don’t fret- it’s looking increasingly likely that Death Stranding will be releasing in November. Read more on that through here.
