Ghostwire: Tokyo is launching in less than a month, and while Bethesda has started pulling back the curtain on the upcoming supernatural action-adventure title a little bit of late, there’s still plenty that we don’t know about it yet. A lot of that, of course, is down to the fact that its story and premise are supposed to be inherently mysterious- though some of that mystery is going to be cleared up soon.
Bethesda has announced that Ghostwire: Tokyo Prelude, a visual novel that will lead directly into the events of the game, is now available on PS5 and PS4. Best of all, it’s available for free, so you can check it out to see if it piques your interest in the upcoming game. That said, it’s a little strange that the visual novel is available on PS4 as well, even though the game itself won’t be. Either way, you can check out its trailer below.
The visual novel is set six months before the events of the game, and will focus on the game’s protagonist, a detective named KK, as he discovers the mysterious phenomenon that Tokyo is caught amidst.
Ghostwire: Tokyo itself will be out for PS5 and PC on March 25. You can check out the game’s PC requirements through here.
