Godfall Showcases Frantic Combat In Gameplay Reveal Trailer

Our first real look at the upcoming looter-slasher's gameplay.

Counterplay Games upcoming self-dubbed “looter-slasher” Godfall has looked like an interesting prospect since it was first unveiled, but there’s been a noticeable lack of gameplay footage from the game. At the recent PS5: The Future of Gaming event, that was rectified, with Sony showcasing a gameplay reveal trailer for the upcoming action RPG.

It does a pretty good job of showing what we can expect from Godfall– frantic, flashy melee combat, which is shown off in full force in the trailer. Some abilities are shown, attacks with various weapons can be glimpsed, while it also looks like your shield will play an important role in combat (at least as long as you’re using one-handed weapons). It’s also worth mentioning that it looks quite impressive from a visual perspective- take a look below.

Godfall will be bringing its three player co-op action (or solo, if you so choose) to PS5 and PC (where it will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store) in holiday 2020. You can get more details on the game’s combat, story, and more through here.
