Google Stadia Releasing in November – Report

Google's cloud streaming service has a release month, according to a recently pulled report.

While news about Destiny 2 going free to play (and renaming itself to Destiny 2: New Light) was shocking enough, another interesting detail was revealed in the now-pulled article from Engadget. The article mentioned that Google Stadia, which Destiny 2 will release on with cross-save support for Xbox One and PC, is out in November. Even if you take this with a grain of salt, it’s not necessarily that shocking. Google previously announced that Stadia would release in 2019 for the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and several parts of Europe this year. Releasing in November allows plenty of time for revealing upcoming games, both first-party and third-party, along with informing potential consumers about features.

Google Stadia Connect will be taking place later today at 9 AM PT. It will offer more information on pricing and available (and perhaps a more concrete release date). Stay tuned for more details especially developers like Capcom also rumoured to be showing up. Take this all with a grain of salt until then.
