Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition’s Mobile Versions Have Seemingly Been Delayed

That's according to an updated release schedule until FY 2025 that Take-Two recently shared as a part of its quarterly earnings report.

Grove Street Games and Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition may have had disastrous launch on consoles and PC, but the games are yet to launch on mobile devices. Rockstar and Take-Two had suggested a release for the first half of 2022, although it seems that things have been internally delayed.

Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, recently held its quarterly earnings call, during which it shared its release schedule outlining details on upcoming releases for the period of FY 2023 to FY 2025. In it, it’s been stated that GTA Trilogy‘s mobile releases are planned for FY 2023- so the games will now be launching sometime between now and March 31, 2023.

That said, if the games do launch on mobile platforms by June 2022, the GTA Trilogy will have hit its supposed release date of H1 2022. But with no marketing suggesting the same and this recent release schedule, this prospect is looking highly unlikely.

On the sales front, the GTA Trilogy has “exceeded expectations” with more than 10 million units sold as of February 2022- read more on that through here.
