GTA 5 Appears for PS4, Xbox One and PC on Retail Sites

Update: An online German retail store is apparently selling keys for the PC version.

It’s been rumoured for a long while now that Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 5 would be releasing for PC, but in the past few months, there have been indications that the open world epic could arrive on PS4 and Xbox One as well with updated graphics. Whether it’s been finally confirmed or not, some online retailers like Worten and SuperGamer Czech are preparing for the inevitable.

According to Eurogamer Portugal, Worten is currently taking pre-orders for the PS4 version of the game. SuperGamer Czech has gone a step further on its Xbox One and PC pre-orders and listed the game’s release date as June 13th. None of this has been confirmed by Rockstar Games or Take Two Interactive, so it’s all very much a rumour.

How awesome would GTA 5 be if it really did hit the PS4 and Xbox One, along with PC? We could receive higher resolutions and frame rates, improved draw distances and perhaps a more crowded city. For now, stay tuned for any updates.

Update: Tipster Philip Kaminsky has sent us a listing for Grand Theft Auto 5 on German retail site GK4.me, with Steam keys apparently being sold for the PC version. These have apparently been on sale for the past three weeks or so. With that in mind, one wonders just how legit the recent Worten and SuperGamer Czech listings are.

It’s a little fishy to be sure, especially since if you preorder, then your key “will be sent 1-2 days or on release day.” Again, take this with a grain of salt as it’s not official confirmation from Rockstar Games or Rockstar North. The site itself seems legit but we have to wonder if this provides any much more of an indication that GTA 5 coming to PC or next gen consoles. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
