Halo Infinite – Microsoft Drops Brief Tease Before Upcoming Gameplay Reveal

343 Industries' shooter will see its campaign debut at the Xbox Games Showcase in a few days.

It’s been a couple of years since Microsoft announced Halo Infinite, and in all that time, we’ve seen two cinematic trailers, and absolutely zero gameplay. That gameplay, it has been confirmed, will be shown off at the upcoming hour-long Xbox Games Showcase on July 23, and anticipation for that reveal is sky-high. This is Halo, after all.

Microsoft are, of course, well aware of that fact, and are doing everything in their power to ratchet up the excitement even more. Taking recently to Twitter, they shared a very (very) brief tease for Halo Infinite. There’s no gameplay here, or even snippets of any cutscenes, or anything we can latch on to for four more days, really- but hey, it hypes up the return of Master Chief, aka John-117, which might be enough to quench the thirst of some Halo fans out there. Take a look below.

Halo Infinite launches this Holiday for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. For now, there’s much that we don’t know about the game, but information recently emerged that suggested that Halo Wars 2’s The Banished would have big role to play in the upcoming shooter.

Meanwhile, a recent rumour said that Halo Infinite will use a one-shot camera similar to 2018’s God of War. You can read more on that through here.
