Along with US hardware sales for December 2021, The NPD Group’s Mat Piscatella also outlined software sales for the month. Call of Duty: Vanguard ranked as the number one selling game for the month while the franchise itself was the highest selling in terms of dollar sales for the 13th year in a row. Microsoft’s Halo Infinite wasn’t too far behind though, debuting in second place.
