It’s been a long, long wait, but Halo finally returned to PC in a big way this month. The series has been absent from the PC scene since the original Halo: Combat Evolved way back in the day. The Master Chief Collection came to PC spearheaded by Halo: Reach, and it seems to have been a massive success.
As announced by Microsoft, the collection was played by nearly 3 million people with the launch on the PC. Those numbers include both the PC version of the game as well as the Xbox One. The game had huge peak player count on Steam, so it’s no surprise, but the Chief still has some pull it seems.
Halo: The Master Collection is available now for Xbox One, as well as Halo: Reach launching as the first on the PC version of the game. More games in the collection will come for the PC release soon.
