It’s been a long, long wait, but Halo finally returned to PC in a big way this month. The series has been absent from the PC scene since the original Halo: Combat Evolved way back in the day. The Master Chief Collection came to PC spearheaded by Halo: Reach, and it seems to have been a massive success.
As announced by Microsoft, the collection was played by nearly 3 million people with the launch on the PC. Those numbers include both the PC version of the game as well as the Xbox One. The game had a huge peak player count on Steam, so it’s no surprise, but the Chief still has some pull it seems.
Halo: The Master Collection is available now for Xbox One, as well as Halo: Reach launching as the first on the PC version of the game. More games in the collection will come for the PC release soon.
