IO Interactive’s upcoming patch for Hitman will add quite the list of improvements before the launch of Episode Two: Sapienza.
According to its patch notes, there will be a reconnect option enabling you to immediately reconnect to a mission should you get disconnected in online mode. This option is currently available on PC and will head to Xbox One and PS4 in a later update. Challenge Awards will also be granted and saved immediately when completed rather than after finishing a mission.
Loading times have also been improved across all locations, being reduced by 50 percent on PS4 and Xbox One, and you can also choose how much information is displayed for Challenges. Improvements have also arrived for Escalation Contracts and you can now see how many stages of an Escalation have been completed.
PC-specific details include Recommended Settings for graphics, Windowed Mode, audio levels in cutscenes now matching with that of briefing videos and fixing issues with inconsistent key bindings.
Hitman Episode Two: Sapienza is out on April 26th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
