Hogwarts Legacy Guide – How to Unlock All Trophies and Achievements

Full Trophy/Achievement completion in Avalanche Software's latest game can be daunting, especially with how enormous the world is.

The world of Hogwarts Legacy is teeming with stuff to do, even if you mostly stick to the main story path. Achieving full Trophy/Achievement completion isn’t difficult, though it can take some time.

How to Unlock All Trophies and Achievements

Here’s how to unlock all of the Trophies and Achievements in Hogwarts Legacy:

The Sort Who Makes an Entrance

After completing the Sorting Ceremony, you’ll have finished the introduction and unlock this Trophy/Achievement.

Grappling with a Graphorn

Subdue the Lord of the Shore. Check out our boss guide to know how you can defeat it.

The One Who Mastered Memories

Unlocked after viewing all the Pensieve memories.

The Hallowed Hero

Wield a Deathly Hallow.

The Hero of Hogwarts

Unlocked after defeating Ranrok in the game’s final story mission and boss battle. Check out our boss guide to know how you can defeat it.

The Seeker of Knowledge

Receive the House Cup when the year is over. This is done by hitting level 34 and finishing the story, and every side quest and puzzle.

The Avenging Gazelle

Unlocked upon finishing Natsai’s side quest chain.

The Defender of Dragons

Received after saving a dragon.

Beast Friends

Unlocked upon finishing Poppy Sweeting’s side quest chain.

A Sallow Grave

Unlocked upon finishing Sebastian’s side quest chain.

Flight the Good Flight

Unlocked after beating Imelda’s time in the broom races.

The Toast of the Town

If you’ve joined Slytherin and discovered the Map Chamber, you’ll receive this Trophy/Achievement.

The Good Samaritan

Unlocked upon completing all side quests in the game.

A Keen Sense of Spell

Use Ancient Magic for the very first time.

Loom for Improvement

Received after upgrading a piece of gear.

The Root of the Problem

Using a Mandrake, stun ten different enemies.

The Nature of the Beast

Breed every type of beast in the Vivarium. There are 13 in total.

Going Through the Potions

Brew every single potion in the game.

Put Down Roots

You must grow every single type of plant to unlock this Trophy/Achievement.

Third Time’s a Charm

Unlocked by upgrading a gear piece three times.

A Talent for Spending

Spend five Talent Points, which will happen as you level up.

Savvy Spender

Spend all available Talent Points, which is done by hitting the max level.

Room with a View

Travel to the highest point of the castle, the Headmaster’s upper study.

Floo Around the World

Unlocked after getting all the Floo Flames.

Followed the Butterflies

Unlocked after following butterflies to a treasure.

Rise to the Challenges

You receive this after defeating enemies in all of the Battle Arenas. There are three Battle Arenas in the entire game, and since they’re accessible in the post-game, you can return when sufficiently powerful to steamroll the enemies.

The Intrepid Explorer

Unlocked after discovering all of the Cairn Dungeons. Check out all of their locations in the video below.

Coasting Along

Once Poidsear Coast opens up, you receive an Achievement/Trophy for visiting it. You can also go directly there, even if you’re under-leveled.

The Gryffindor in the Graveyard

If you’re part of Gryffindor and discover the Map Chamber, you’ll receive this Achievement/Trophy.

Demiguise Dread

Unlocked upon locating all Demiguise statues. Check out our guide here to find them all.

The Ends Petrify the Means

Use Petrificus Totalus to defeat 50 enemies in total. Pretty straightforward.

Raising Expectations

Achieve a 100-hit combo in combat, which is doable in the Battle Arenas. Given that these can be repeated, even in the post-game, it’s easy to unlock.

Finishing Touches

Unlocked by using Ancient Magic on every single enemy.

The Spell Master

You need to learn all Spells to unlock this. There are 34 in total, with 26 that can be equipped in the hot bars. For details on unlocking all Spells, check out guide here.

A Forte for Achievement

Though you need to be level 34 to receive the House Cup, the actual level cap is 40. To reach it, you’ll need to do a fair bit of grinding, but there are activities to support it. The three Battle Arenas can be repeated for XP. Check out our guide here.

The Wise Owl

Unlocked if you’ve joined Ravenclaw and discovered the Map Chamber.

The Auror’s Apprentice

Unlocked if you find the Map Chamber as a member of Hufflepuff.

First Class Student

Unlocked after attending your first class at Hogwarts.

Troll with the Punches

Upon surviving the attack from the Trolls in Hogsmeade, this Achievement/Trophy is unlocked.

That’s a Keeper

You’ll receive this Achievement/Trophy after meeting Charles Rookwood, Victor’s ancestor, in the Map Chamber.

Rising From the Ashes

Unlocked after rescuing the phoenix. You need to complete some quests for Deek before this becomes available. In the end, you can rescue the phoenix and add it to your collection of magical beasts.
