List of of Hogwarts Legacy Bosses and how to defeat them

Armored Troll

The Troll encounter takes place on your first visit to Hogsmeade. Defeat it quickly by using ancient magic to poke and make it smash into the surroundings.

Pensive Guardian

Defeating the Guardian is a challenging task, as it requires quick reflexes to dodge incoming attacks while continuously firing spells into the orb at its back. You can deal significant damage to the Guardian by using the Depulso spell on the purple charges and Leviosa on the yellow ones. Here is a video that showcases the entire boss fight in detail.

Mountain Troll

The Mountain Troll can be a formidable opponent, as it is known for its savagery and ability to hurl large boulders. To successfully defeat it, it’s recommended to stay in close proximity, as this will make it harder for the troll to throw projectiles at you. Use close-range spells to deal damage and take down the creature. Here is a little video guide to help you out.

Graphorn

Defeating the Graphorn can be a real challenge, but using Ancient Magic can give you the upper hand in this boss fight. Additionally, a talent-upgraded Mandrake can is a helpful tool to have in your arsenal. Check out this video guide for a great balance of offensive and defensive strategies to take down this beast.

Solomon Sallow

Solomon has his own group of minions who fight alongside him in battles. While individually, they may not pose much of a threat, they can be a nuisance and distract you long enough for Solomon to make his move. To counter this, it is advisable to use area-of-effect spells in combination with direct damage spells to keep the minions at bay while simultaneously dealing damage to Solomon. For a better understanding of how to take down Solomon and his minions, you can refer to this helpful video guide.

Victor Rockwood

Victor Rockwood’s minions are a force to be reckoned with, as they are capable of wielding spells. To defeat him, it is essential to move around the map constantly and pick off the minions one by one before taking on Victor himself. Follow this video and you should be able to defeat him on your first try.

Theophilus Harlow

To defeat Theophilus, you’ll need to break his shield first using Levios0. Once the shield is down, you can use Ancient Magic to deal damage to him. It’s best to ignore the Ashwinders and focus all your spells on him. Here is a video guide that’ll help you with battle.

The Absconder

Avoid the smaller spiders until they are directly upon and focus all your spells on the Absconder. However, keep your distance while doing so. This video guide will help you focus on the important parts of the fight.

Ranrok Dragon

The final boss fight is difficult. First, make the health bar appear by destroying the different colored orbs. Most of its attacks are unavoidable so make sure to follow this video guide if you want to get him on your first few tries.
