Though it’s been quite some time since we last saw or heard anything concrete about upcoming action RPG Hogwarts Legacy, recent leaks have suggested very strongly that that’s going to change very soon. Reportedly, a major PlayStation event is planned for sometime in March, and Hogwarts Legacy is going to be one of the game that shows up there, ahead of rumoured September launch.
Now, a former member of the game’s development team might be suggesting the same. Troy Leavitt – who left developer Avalanche Studios in March of last year amidst controversies over his personal YouTube channel and pro-Gamergate views – recently took to Twitter and, in response to similar leaks as the aforementioned ones, said that though he’s not confirming or denying anything, “the timing seems about right” to him where an imminent trailer is concerned.
Of course, this doesn’t set anything in stone, especially since Leavitt hasn’t been part of the game’s development team for about a year, and plans may very well have changed since then. Then again, it’s just as likely that he’s still very much in the know, while the incessant leaks align with what he seems to be suggesting as well.
Either way, we’ll know soon enough. Stay tuned for more updates.
