Hollow Knight Developer Has No Announcements Planned for E3 2021

The wait for Hollow Knight: Silksong news continues.

The wait for Hollow Knight: Silksong – be it new details, gameplay footage or release date – continues but it seems that E3 2021 won’t offer much salvation. Reddit user Echo_The_Shadow provided a screenshot of Team Cherry’s Matthew “Leth” Griffin stating that the developer wouldn’t have any “announcements/blogs scheduled for E3 this year.”

The statement comes from the Hollow Knight Discord server, though Team Cherry hasn’t announced anything via its official social media accounts or through other avenues. In January, the developer revealed information on Hollow Knight: Silksong’s Crests, combat and new location, the Citadel. It also reaffirmed that the sequel would be coming to PC and Nintendo Switch at launch.

Leth previously stated that the game was content complete and in the final testing stage but would only launch once the developer is confident in its finished state. Of course, there’s still some hope that the sequel launches it before E3 2021 which runs from June 12th to 15th but that seems unlikely. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
