With the hours counting down to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s early access release for owners of its Premium Edition, Bethesda recently revealed the action-adventure title’s PC system requirements, confirming that the game won’t be playable at all with Nvidia’s RTX cards (or equivalent alternatives)- though funnily enough, full ray tracing support won’t actually be featured during the game’s early access period.
Nvidia has confirmed in an update that though Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does feature support for full ray tracing (or Path Tracing), allowing for more accurately rendered shadows, reflections, and global illumination, it won’t actually be added in until a day one patch releases on December 9, the day of the game’s global release. That means players who dive into the game early via its Premium Edition won’t be able to experience it with Path Tracing until its global release a handful of days later.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC, and will also be available on PS5 next Spring. Check out the game’s global release timings through here.
