JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Gets a September Release Date

The remaster of the PS3/Xbox 360-era fighting game gets a September release date for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

Bandai Namco has announced the release date for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R. The remaster of the PS3/Xbox 360-era fighting game will be coming to PC on September 1. The console releases on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch are scheduled for September 2. Alongside the release date, Bandai Namco has also released a new trailer for the upcoming fighting game.

The new trailer features four new characters coming to the game from the anime franchise: Robert E.O. Speedwagon (from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood), Mariah (from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders), Pet Shop (from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders), and Diego Brando (from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run).

Leading up to its release, PS4 and PS5 players will also get access to an “Early Access Demo”, which will allow the players to try out the online PvP modes, as well as the practice modes.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R‘s release is split into three editions: the Standard Edition ($49.99), the Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99), and the Collector’s Bundle ($99.99). The standard edition only comes with a copy of the game. The Digital Deluxe Edition adds Animation Special Event Colour Sets for a host of characters, along with the Season Pass, which will grant four new playable characters, two exclusive costumes, and two days of early access.

The Collector’s Bundle adds more Animation Special Event Colours for vairous characters, alongside a Special Colour version of the Grandista Series Jolyne Cujoh 10-inch statue.
