Life Is Strange: True Colors Gets Over 13 Minutes Of Gameplay

Get an extended look at the latest entry in the narrative adventure game with introduction to multiple characters and a key location.

Next month we will once again step into the world of Life is Strange with True Colors. Unlike the previous titles, the game will release in one full package as opposed to multiple episodes and will follow Alex, a telepath who can sense and manipulate the emotions of the people around her. Fans who have followed the series no doubt know what to expect at this point, but today Square Enix has given us a peak of some early moments.

As you can see below, there is just over 13 minutes of gameplay from the game. It features Alex going into the record store of the fictional Colorado town Haven Springs, which will serve as the setting for this entry. Here Alex also meets two key characters, including Steph, who will be the main character of the prequel DLC, Wavelengths, that will release shortly after the main game. You’ll see that a lot here is familiar from previous games, from the choice system to the movement, as well as doing a few silly, but fun, everyday tasks to progress the story.

Life is Strange: True Colors will release on September 10th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC and Stadia with a Switch version recently delayed but still set to come later this year.
