Marvel Rivals’ popularity has waned significantly, at least on Steam, since launch, but support continues regardless. Season 4: Heart of the Dragon is now live and adds the first of two new playable heroes – Angela, Thor’s sister, and the latest Vanguard. She’s also the first flying tank in the game and the first flyer who can transition between fighting in mid-air and on the ground.
Alongside a new Battle Pass with ten new outfits for heroes like Moonknight, Loki, Phoenix, and more, Arcade Mode has been overhauled to offer more choices like Conquest (Annihilation), Free Fight, and returning modes like Clone Rumble. Other new features include randomizing your hero’s outfits from unlocked choices, a rework of the emoji wheel, and, for maximum style points, a slow walk option on PC.
Of course, there’s more to come in the mid-season update, which adds Daredevil (not played by Matt Murdock) as the next playable character, so stay tuned for more details.
Marvel Rivals is available for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5, and is also now playable on PS4.
