While Marvel’s Avengers apparently did not do as well as many had hoped or expected, it doesn’t seem like Square Enix is ready to pull the plug on the live service-based game just yet. It was announced that the delayed PS5, Xbox Series X/S versions would finally be coming out next month alongside new War Table that broke down the newest DLC. We now have a good breakdown on these next gen versions, and it does seems as if the Xbox side does lack a few options.
The official Twitter tweeted out the chart for the PS5 version of the game that broke down both improvements for the PS4 title on PS5 as well as the native PS5 version. That will include resolution modes for Performance Mode and 4K Mode that will have native 4K on the PS5 version, better loading, framerate and a host of other graphical and audio improvements.
The Xbox side of things is largely the same with a few differences. While the Series X will also have native 4K on its native version (and 1440p on Series S), there is no mention on the chart of having options for a Performance Mode or 4K mode. It’s not clear why that is. There is also lack of haptic feedback, as expected, but also there seems to be no support for Spatial Audio either. The chart was not given out on the official Twitter, but instead was emailed to players, and was posted below via Twitter user Lion.
Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. The PS5, Xbox Series X/S version will launch on March 18th.
