Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is Out Now

Eidos Montreal's single player action-adventure game is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy might not have been met with the most positive reception when it was first revealed, but solid subsequent showings and the promise of a story-driven single player linear adventure has certainly warmed many people to what it might do.

The Eidos Montreal-developed game is out now, and Square Enix has released a trailer to commemorate the same, which very briefly and very succinctly explains the game’s premise and combat, while highlighting other aspects such as the characters, locations in the game, the soundtrack, a number of in-game outfits, and more. Check out the trailer below.

In our review of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, we awarded the game a score of 8/10, saying, “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy might be by-the-numbers, but it’s a consistently enjoyable experience with great characters and an engaging story, thanks to an excellent understanding of what makes this property tick.” You can read our full review through here.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and as a cloud-exclusive release on the Nintendo Switch. Interestingly, thanks to the PS5’s Kraken compression tech, the console has a significantly smaller file size as compared to the game’s PS4 version. Read more on that through here.
