Marvel’s Midnight Suns Delayed To Second Half Of 2022

The card based game that plays into Marvel's more supernatural side will come later than originally intended.

Earlier this year we got the reveal of the unexpected Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The game is tactical RPG with card-based combat from Firaxis, the developer behind the XCOM series. It looks to explore the darker, more supernatural side of the Marvel world, mixed in with more popular and mainstream heroes such as Wolverine and Captain America. It certainly looked like a different approach than what we’ve seen from Marvel titles thus far, but it also seems as if we’ll have to wait a little longer than expected to try it out.

The game was originally meant to launch early next year, specifically March, but the game’s official Twitter account has confirmed that will no longer be the case. Instead the game will now come in the latter half of next year. More polish and added story and cinematics are cited for the main reason for the delay. You can read the full statement below.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will now release in the second half of 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
