Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is releasing in a little over two weeks from now, and details and gameplay footage are coming in hot and heavy as we count down the days to its launch. We also have some drier but still interesting details to look at, with the game looking set to receive a pretty sizeable day one update.
As spotted by SP1st, the patch tracking site Orbispatches shows that a 9.2 GB update is primed and ready to go for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Insomniac could still add to this in the days leading up to launch as they quash more bugs and cram in as many fixes and polishing touches as they can, so the day one update could conceivably end up being bigger than the current 9.2 GB it stands at.
The game itself will require 50 GB of free storage space on your PS5, or 105 GB for the Ultimate Edition, which will also include Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch for PS5 and PS4 on November 12. Here are all the ways the game is optimized for next-gen hardware.
