With Miles being the only playable character in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it’s important to know how different he plays from Peter Parker. The initial gameplay reveal showcased the power of his Venom Shock abilities but in a recent video with Game Informer, director Cameron Christian offered some more details. Check it out below.

Miles’ combat style is about switching between single target damage and tackling crowds of enemies. Combining certain tools, like the Gravity Well, with abilities like the Venom Punch allows for grouping enemies together and dealing massive damage in one fell swoop. Of course, Miles will also have his own unique suit upgrades (like the previously seen invisibility).

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is out on November 12th for PS4 and PS5. For more details on the new Spider-Man suits, head here. You can also watch the first boss fight of the game here. More details and gameplay footage will be revealed en route to launch so stay tuned.
