Files for Mass Effect 3’s plot were leaked recently, and the fan feedback was quite negative, saying that the script was weak. And while BioWare said long back that the script that was leaked was an early build, and not representative of the final version in any way, studio’s co-founder Ray Muzyka says the script might receive some changes based on the feedback.
“It was disappointing for them, yeah,” he said about the ME3 development team while speaking with Eurogamer.
“They’re moving on. They’re making a great game. The script, frankly, has changed a little bit from what was released, too. But yeah, it’s tough when you see your work displayed. You realise only a small number of people are probably going to look at those spoilers in advance.
“It is hard on a team when they see their work revealed in an early form like that. But they’re going to get through it because they’re a strong group. They really care about delivering a great game to the fans.
“They’re committed to making this the best Mass Effect.”
Mass Effect 3 releases on March 6 next year for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Stay tuned for more info.
