Mass Effect 3 will have unified online feature called “Alliance Network”; will be activated via Online Pass

Much like the Cerberus Network in Mass Effect 2, which was kind of a hub for all online activities in the game, Mass Effect 3 will have a feature called Alliance Network. It will be accessible via the online pass.

No info on the feature is given yet, but BioWare says it’s tied to the multiplayer. “I’m not going to talk about the Alliance Network or what that means,” said ME3’s Associate Producer Mike Gamble told GamerZines. “But part of it is ME3’s multiplayer.

“Multiplayer is an additional piece that works with the single-player as well – it all ties back together.”

In the same interview, he said that once players are done with ME3, they should probably hang on to the save files, because they might need them one day- for those of you who don’t understand (you dumb asses), he’s suggesting that there might be a Mass Effect 4 soon.

Mass Effect 3 releases on March 6 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
