While we have had the year for the release date of Mass Effect: Andromeda for a while now, we may finally have the exact day. While Bioware hasn’t confirmed, it appears a companion art book being put out by Dark Horse might have spilled the beans.
Dark Horse announced on its official website that the Mass Effect: Andromeda art book was going to be releasing on the same day as the game. In the notes for that artbook, the launch date for the companion piece is listed as March 21, 2017. If this is more than a placeholder date and Dark Horse is right that the two items are going to be launching side by side, then we do indeed have the release date for the game.
Before you get too excited, take all of this with a grain of salt. Neither developer Bioware nor publisher EA has come forward to confirm. What we do know for certain, straight from the horse’s mouth is Mass Effect: Andromeda is expected for the PS4, Xbox One and PC in Q1 2017.
