Mass Effect Andromeda Will Support Joypad For PC And HDR, 21:9 Resolution Being Looked Into

Bioware going all out.

It’s actually pretty easy to forget given the mainstream success that the developer’s games see these days, but Bioware actually started their life as a developer of PC exclusive cRPGs, based on the Dungeons and Dragons setting and rulesets. So it’s only apt in a way that with the PC version of the upcoming Mass Effect Andromeda, they will be going all out.

Speaking on Twitter, Bioware’s Aaryn Flynn confirmed that the PC version of the game will have full gamepad support, for people who would rather play this game with the controller than on keyboard and mouse. Michael Gamble also confirmed that they are looking into supporting 21:9 resolution, though he did admit that this was subject to change.

Finally, Aaryn Flynn confirmed that the game will support HDR, though given the state of HDR on PC, it is likely he was referring just to the PS4 Pro and Xbox One S versions with that. Mass Effect Andromeda is currently slated to launch for Xbox One, PS4, and PC in Spring 2017.
